- A polyethylene introducer with a flexible extremity and 2 hysterometry guide-marks at 5.5 cm and 6.5 cm from the distal extremity.
- A malleable metal guidewire coated in polyethylene.
- An extra-fine reimplantation catheter (0.55 mm in internal diameter and 1 mm in external diameter), in polyethylene, on a stainless steel micro tube of 0.50 mm in diameter in its proximal section to help the handling.
When positioned in the introducer, the reimplantation catheter sticks out by 2.5 cm from the distal extremity of the introducer.

적용

A trial catheterisation may be performed beforehand, with a FRYDMAN® CLASSIC CATHETER, a MOCK CATHETER, or an ULTRASOFT MOCK ECHO.
- Either during a cycle prior to the embryo transfer,
- Or just before the transfer.

A « trial run» through the cervix is designed to:
- Collect hysterometry data,
- Identify difficulties which may arise during the embryo transfer,
- Chose the best suited catheter.

To proceed with the embryo transfer with the Set TDT®:

- Before loading the embryos, shape the introducer and its guidewire in their sterile packaging, to fit the profile of the cervical canal.
- Position the introducer in the cervix, while recording the length introduced in the cervical canal.
- Remove the metal guidewire.
- Rinse in the first place the reimplantation catheter with the appropriate biological medium and then load the catheter with the embryos.
- Place the loaded reimplantation catheter in the introducer positioned in the cervix.
- When the first guide-mark on the reimplantation catheter is level with the base of the introducer, their two distal extremities coincide in the uterine cavity. Care must be taken to push forward the reimplantation catheter only on the distance defined by the patient’s hysterometry data (taking into account the length of the introducer already positioned in the cervix).
- Expel the embryos gently by pushing the syringe’s plunger.
- Remove the introducer and catheter together to avoid any aspiration effect.
