  Catheter in polyethylene 18 cm long, 2.10 mm in external diameter, 1.10 mm in internal diameter, including:
- A distal opening,
- Three hysterometry guide-marks 5.5 cm, 6.5 cm and 7.5 cm from the extremity,
- A deformable guidewire, included in its texture and which does not come in contact with the transfer lumen.

Class I medical device, complying with Directive 93/42/EEC.

적용

 A trial catheterisation may be performed beforehand, with a FRYDMAN® CLASSIC CATHETER, a MOCK CATHETER, or an ULTRASOFT MOCK ECHO.
- Either during a cycle prior to the embryo transfer,
- Or just before the transfer.

A « trial run» through the cervix is designed to:
- Collect hysterometry data,
- Identify difficulties which may arise during the embryo transfer,
- Chose the best suited catheter.

To proceed with the embryo transfer with the FRYDMAN® MEMORY CATHETER 4.5:

- Before loading the embryos, re-shape the catheter in its sterile envelope to fit the configuration of the cervix as defined during the trial catheterisation.
- Connect the catheter to an IVF syringe and rinse it with the appropriate biological medium.
- Load the embryos in the catheter.
- Introduce the catheter without touching the uterine fundus (maximum 1 cm from the uterine fundus) using the hysterometry guide-marks. A slight rotation of the catheter helps overcome certain cervical obstacles.
- Expel the embryos gently by pushing the plunger.
- Remove the catheter gently while rotating it.
