A trial catheterisation can be performed beforehand, with a FRYDMAN® CLASSIC CATHETER,
or a MOCK CATHETER.

- Either during a cycle prior to the embryo transfer,
- Or just before the transfer.

A « trial run» through the cervix is designed to:
- Collect hysterometry data,
- Identify difficulties which may arise during the embryo transfer,
- Chose the best suited catheter.

To proceed with the embryo transfer with the FRYDMAN® CLASSIC 4.5 or 5.5:
- Connect the FRYDMAN® CLASSIC CATHETER to an IVF syringe and rinse with the appropriate biological medium.
- Load the embryos in the catheter.
- Introduce the catheter in the cavity without touching the uterine fundus (maximum 1 cm from the uterine fundus) using the hysterometry guide-marks.
- Expel the embryos slowly using the IVF syringe.
- Remove the FRYDMAN® CLASSIC CATHETER gently.
